Our Story

Rooted in Nepal

ROYAL HEMP is where fashion meets sustainability, heritage meets hope, and tradition finds a future.

Born in the heart of Nepal, our brand exists to protect and celebrate an ancient hemp culture that has been quietly passed down through generations. For centuries, hemp has been woven into everyday life in Nepal; not just as a material, but as a way of living in balance with nature.

Long before sustainability became a global conversation, local communities in Nepal were already practicing it. Hemp was farmed naturally, harvested patiently, and crafted by hand with respect for the land. ROYAL HEMP was created to honor this wisdom and ensure it is not forgotten.

By choosing hemp, we choose responsibility; reducing harm to the environment while supporting livelihoods rooted in honesty and care. Every fiber we use carries the touch of the earth and the effort of hands that understand its value.

Heroes

Our Local Artisans

At the heart of our brand are local artisans. Their patience and dedication breathe life into every piece. By blending handmade craftsmanship with modern design, we give traditional skills a voice in today’s world.

We work closely with farmers and local communities, sourcing natural and wild hemp fibers through traditional methods that protect the soil and preserve biodiversity.

Each product is not rushed; it’s made with intention, carrying stories of resilience, heritage, and responsibility.

We believe fashion should feel honest. It should last. And it should stand for something bigger than trends. Through ethical production, transparency, and respect for people and planet, we aim to create impact that lasts far beyond a single season.

Traditional Method of Hemp Seed Oil Extraction

This is the traditional method of Hemp Seed Oil extraction in rural areas of Nepal. This oil extracting practice has been followed by generations of families in these villages. The ancient people used to make clothes made out of hemp in their era. “Hemp” was the way of living during that time. Still, Hemp farming is followed by some families till now. Hemp plant is called as Bhango in these places. Because of lack of market and modern machines, the extraction of oil, making of fabrics is very less nowadays. Only few people cultivate hemp for their own uses.
